Curious Body is a fun explorative practice of movement & dance creation. In these sessions we aim to drop into a state of interest & awareness generating movement that is articulate & connected to our all sensing body. There are many tools to support this enquiry and Kimberley has been developing Curious Body over the last four years honing her ability to create a space for this kind of engaging movement to occur. The sessions also move through a creative composing space where we play with crafting what is emerging as we improvise as individuals, explore ensemble composition & responsive play. Though Kimberley teaches Contact Improvisation, please note that Curious Body is not C.I.
It is fun and open to all levels of movers. It is also an accumulative practice; the more you come the more you discover.

Learning street dance is an awesome way for you to get in touch with your grooving, stylish self, gain fitness and develop healthy brain function (choreo isn’t usually easy, but it does wonders for developing mental sharpness!) In this class we will loosen up, have a stretch, groove to some great classic tracks, learn foundational moves and slowly progress on a choreography that you can take home with you. No experience necessary. Just come as you are and be ready to have some fun getting down!
