WeMove Studio

Corner Stuart St and Tincogan

Join in for this series of three expressive arts workshops that combine dance, movement, theatre, poetry, visual arts and storytelling.

What lies in the space between us?
What is the relationship between our inner and outer landscapes?
What new possibilities can we create in these spaces?

In this workshop we will creatively investigate these questions through a range of expressive arts modalities, such as dance, movement, theatre, poetry, visual arts and storytelling. We will do this in an integrated way, exploring new materials and aspects of ourselves, to deepen our insights and to find positive resources in our expressions.

Questions such as “What is our artwork saying to us?” or “What would it like us to know?”, will be asked. This way of approaching any art modality can help us open up to new perspectives and help us see the world and our challenges in new ways.

In this workshop, you will be supported to find, name and integrate these insights back into your daily life, so that the experience can continue beyond the studio. Expressive Arts is for anyone who wants to loosen up, explore their creativity and widen their play range in a safe and authentic way. All experience levels are welcome!

This will be the first of a three part workshop series:
the other two are on

Sunday, May 26th
